See a project through from idea to prototype
First, let's imagine a smart world where everyone is tech savy and life is easy (hard, I know). Now, let's say, while on vacation, you bought an extremely ugly sweater from a small boutique because the old lady who owned the store was just so cute. Flashforward 10 days, you hate it and need to return it ASAP. Returnify has got you covered!
The return experience tends to be time consuming and return policies can get confusing. Three friends and I brainstormed and designed a mobile application that helps consumers return their unwanted items with zero hassle. Returnify keeps all your receipts of purchased items and lets you know how much longer you have until you can return an item. It also stores all your stores' return policies in a broken down, easy to understand format. When you would like to return an item, you simply select it, follow the steps for printing a shipping label, head to your nearest post office and send it off. You get reimbursed in the app and can link the app straight to your bank account.
As a team, we conducted user studies to determine the needs of our target users. Then, we brainstormed, sketched some ideas and tested our ideas on users using paper prototypes. We noted the results, reiterated some more, talked to some experts and then designed our high-fidelity prototypes.
I was most hands-on with the design of of the application and utilized good ol' pen and paper, Balsamiq, Photoshop, and InVision
